**Application deadline 15 June 2024**  - There are no exceptions

It is possible to do an internship after completing your required curriculum when you register your internship/ you have the intention to do an internship. The deadline: by 15 June 2024 via Osiris Case. The internship does not constitute an official part of the curriculum and will not be displayed on your grade list. Because in the Netherlands you need a student status to do an internship, RSM offers you to postpone the issuance of your degree after September 1st of the next academic year.

Please note that being enrolled as a student requires payment of tuition fee for as long as you are enrolled as a student.

Conditions

  • You must have completed all curricular components, including your thesis, in the nominal timespan of the programme. (all our programmes are set for 1 academic year)
  • You can’t be registered for a 2nd master.
  • You must have arranged, or be in the process of arranging, an internship following completion of the one-year degree programme.
  • The internship, or the intention to do an internship, must have been registered in Osiris Case by the deadline of June 15th (RSM Request for internship postponement active degree issuance 2024)
  • By the deadline of June 15th: You have obtained a minimum of 32 EC + NO registration for a second master.

Procedure

  • You must meet the conditions above.
  • You must register your internship/your intention to do an internship by 15 June 2024 at through Osiris Case, where you will indicate permission to postpone issuance of your degree. (There will be 32EC and nominally check in the week after June 15th)
  • After receiving an automatic generated message from Osiris Case that you have met the conditions of the first deadline you must do the following steps:
  1. You must re-enroll for the same MSc programme via Studielink. Note: deadline for re-enrollment 31 August.
  2. In September 2024, you will be notified by SPD about issuance of your degree. Nevertheless, you may remain enrolled as a student through the end of the academic year.
  3. Following completion of your internship, you will be able to terminate your enrollment yourself via Studielink. Please ensure that you un-enroll before the 24th of the month in which your internship ends, such that your enrollment goes into effect by the first of the following month. Should your enrollment not be complete by the end of the given month, you will be responsible for payment of tuition for the following month, and until such time as your enrollment is complete.

Additional explanation
You will see an issuance of your degree till September 30th, 2024. This means that your diploma will be issued in the month September. For your enrollment this means you are enrolled for the whole academic year 2024-2025. There is a difference between issuing your diploma and enrollment of the academic year in Studielink. If you need extra information, please contact RSM Career Centre.

Change of plans

Should you have submitted a request for postponement and your plans change, and should you ultimately want to obtain your diploma before 31 August 2024, you must take the following steps:

  1. Withdraw the postponement of active degree issuance by requesting the withdrawal on the ‘RSM Request for internship postponement active degree issuance 2024’ through Osiris Case before 24 July 2024.
  2. Wait for (the confirmation of) the diploma by SPD or apply for the diploma directly with SPD via OSIRIS Case.
  3. Request deregistration from the programme via Studielink, for reason of graduation. Once your graduation has been confirmed, the deregistration will be processed by the team Enrolment, Deregistration and Funding (EDF).

After 24 July 2024, cancelation of the postponement of your degree will be no longer possible.
The consequence of this means: You will need to wait until September 2024 to be able to receive your diploma and terminate your enrolment as a student, i.e., you will be responsible for paying tuition fees for at least September 2024 and must re-enroll for the same MSc programme.
